At Aventus MED SPA, we thrive in providing high quality non-invasive anti-aging procedures with a personalized approach. Dr. Mota was born and raised in San Diego, California and is currently a practicing board-certified Family Medicine Physician here in Chula Vista. Throughout the years he has been committed to providing high-quality healthcare. Dr. Mota has always been interested in longevity and after years of extensive training, he has decided to encompass anti-aging aesthetics into his practice. His goal is to help everyone look and feel younger.

What can you expect?
- SkinPen is a simple, comfortable, and effective treatment for skin rejuvenation. Most people see results in as few as three 30-minute sessions.
Before Treatment:
- Your provider will gently cleanse your skin. Topical anesthesia will be applied to ensure maximum comfort.
During Treatment:
- SkinPen creates millions of controlled microchannels in the skin. This jump-starts the production of collagen and elastin, encouraging the release of growth factors that recruit and increase reparative cells. The result is a cascade of healing processes that can continue for months following your treatment.
- The SkinPen treatment lasts approximately 30 minutes. Depending on whether an anesthetic is used prior to treatment, your entire treatment session may last up to 60 minutes—still plenty of time to schedule your treatment before work or during your lunch break.
After Treatment:
- Your skin may initially appear slightly pink to red, similar to a mild sunburn. This is normal and should subside within 24 to 72 hours.
- Some people see rejuvenated skin after just one treatment, and results will continue to improve for three to six months following your last treatment.
- Avoid strenuous exercise for at least 72 hours.
- May apply sunscreen after 24 hours.
